Education is freedom. This is the core value which drives Rising Chute in our mission to empower the global youth of today to take the reins of tomorrow.

Rising Chute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating educational opportunities for young people in the United States and other US-friendly countries. We provide resources-via scholarships, mentorships, and access to American institutions-which engage and encourage young minds to see beyond their present and into a brighter future not only for themselves but for the world. By fostering opportunities and exchanges in these fields, we aim to inspire the leaders of tomorrow to take on the global challenges facing all of humanity.

Our participants from the United States will come from the recommendations of American high schools, community-based organizations, public and private entities, and direct applicants. They will interact with American academic institutions, including HBCU's, 1994's, 1862's, and other minority institutions of learning to identify ways to make careers in education, finance, Information Technology, business, and health care attractive and accessible to young people. We believe that such an affirmative sharing of knowledge and cultural values will engender the relationships necessary for a strong and equitable global economy.

We encourage students to develop their physical wellness through healthy approaches to diet and exercise, incentivize socializing with others in the program, and develop spiritual awareness via the freedom to worship through the many referral services that are available in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Rising Chutes seeks to nurture the self-esteem of young people by helping them fulfill their potential by establishing goals and challenging themselves, academically and beyond, to become well-rounded adults prepared to meet the global challenges facing all of humanity.
